Egyptian Premier League John Antwi scored 9th league goal as Pyramids edge past Lel Makkasa

Fit-again Ghanaian striker John Antwi has netted his ninth league goal as Pyramids defeated Misr Lel Makkasa during matchday 31 of Egyptian Premier League.

John Antwi missed out scoring against former club Ismaily last week. However the non-goal period was short for the 28-year-old as he found again the net on Tuesday by scoring the only goal of White Knights in their 1-0 win over Al Ittihad.

Moreover, he scored Saturday night in Pyramids’ 3-2 win against Misr Lel Makkasa. His ninth of the season.

Pyramids will face Al Masry on Wednesday, but Antwi could miss that clash as he will be in Turkey with Ghana’s Black Stars for international duty. Ghana will play Mali on 9 October and World Cup 2022 organizers Qatar three days later.
