Premier League Manchester United – Tottenham : forecast and rate of an expert

Manchester United - Tottenham

Football journalist and AfricaTopSports expert has given a prediction for 2020/21 Premier League‘s fourth round game between Manchester United – Tottenham.

The 4th matchday of the Premier League will offer a great poster between Manchester United and Tottenham this Sunday. A shock on paper but not (yet?) Given the current ranking. The two teams have indeed started this new exercise on a minor note.

To start this new year, Red Devils were very disappointed by losing their first league game to Crystal Palace (1-3). Last weekend, they reacted with this short success acquired in Brighton (2-3). This week, Manchester United easily won in … Brighton again (0-3) and is therefore qualified for the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men haven’t lost any major players during the offseason. However, they were reinforced with the arrival of Dutch midfielder Van de Beek (ex Ajax). The attacking quartet should again consist of playmaker Bruno Fernandes and forwards Greenwood, Martial and Rashford. Paul Pogba didn’t shine in the first 2 league games but certainly regained some confidence in scoring after coming into play this week in the Carabao Cup.

Manchester United - Tottenham will be special for Mourinho as he will back in his former club.

On the Hotspur side, the addition is not much brighter. With a victory, a division and a defeat, the Londoners are only 8th in the standings (4 units). Tottenham, 6th in the Premier League last year, had some ignition delay before recovering in the second half of the season. This year, the club started with a defeat against Everton (0-1) before winning the second qualifying round (1-2 against Lokomotiv Plovdiv), exploding Southampton (2-5), winning for the 2nd Europa qualifying round (1-3 victory at Shkëndija), to concede a draw at the end of the game against Newcastle in the league (1-1), then to beat Chelsea (1-1 then 5-4 at the tabs) in 8th Cup this Tuesday! Tottenham have to contend with the absence of Welsh international Bale, who has just arrived from Real Madrid. On the other hand, the important midfielder Sissoko and the young English defender Tanganga are completely recovered from their physical problems. Since the start of the season, the attacking trio has been made up of forwards Lucas (1 league goal), Son (4 goals) and Kane (1 goal).

I would bet here that both teams will score, but the guests will not lose. It seems to me that there will be chances here, and Tottenham, because at this point in time a better team, at least one draw at Old Trafford. My pick is X2 and both will score 2.81 in 1xBet.
