Jose Mourinho became the first manager to defeat his former in away from home as Tottenham humiliated Manchester United 6-1 at Old Trafford, Africa Top Sports reports.
Mourinho and his resurgence lads produced a world class performance to edge past 10-man Red Devils in Sunday’s Premier League game.
The game was Manchester United second home game after their 3-1 loss to Crystal Palace.
It took just two minutes for Manchester United to go in front with Bruno Fernandes scoring from the spot after Anthony Martial was fouled by Davinson Sanchez.

Two minutes later,Tanguy Ndombele equalised for Spurs following a properly cleared ball by Luke Shaw.
Son Heung-Min who just returned from injury marked his return by scoring putting Tottenham in front from a Harry Kane’a freekick in the 7th minute.
Manchester United were then reduced to 10-man after Martial was shown a red card in the 28th minute.
That spelt the beginning of doom for the Red Devils as the goal kept on pouring.
Kane scored a squared ball from Heung-Min in the 30th minute to increase the tally to 3-1.
Heung-Min then completed his brace for the day in the 37th minute before the break.
Spurs resumed from where they stopped in the second half with Serge Aurier netting the fifth goal bringing the scoreline to 5-1.
Paul Pogba tripped on Ben Davies right inside the box as the referee awarded a second penalty against Manchester United.
Kane stepped up and scored from the spot to increase the tally to 6-1 and it was the last goal for the day but was enough to do the damage.
With the result Mourinho’s Tottenham  side have equalled the biggest ever margin of victory (6-1) for a manager vs a former club in the PremierLeague and the biggest since Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool beat Swansea 5-0 in February 2013.
Tottenham equalled their 1957 record as the first visiting side to score four first-half goals in a league game away with the same Manchester United.
