Vacant for several months, GFA (Ghana Football Federation) National Technical Director post is now filled. Its new holder is Bernhard Lippert.

The 58-year-old German signed a 2-year contract. FIFA technical expert, Lippert worked for a long time in Germany. He was coach mainly for Eintract Franckfurt.

Before his appointment to Ghana, Lippert was in the support of football in Azerbaijan for the last 12 years. He was in charge of U17, U19 and U21. He replaces Ghanaian Oti Akenteng whose contract expired at the end of March.
