Chelsea Edouard Returns To Chelsea After Sustaining Injury While Training

Chelsea Football Club goalkeeper Edouard Mendy faces fitness test before the international break ends after he sustained an injury worries while training with the Senegal.
Edouard joined the rest of his national teammates in training ahead of their friendly game against Morocco in Rabat.
However, the goalkeeper pulled out of the squad after he sustained an injury.

The Senegalese made his Premier League debut for the Blues in their 4-0 win against Crystal joining Chelsea from Rennes.
His first league game ended with a clean sheet which was the first for the season for Frank Lampard side.
Chelsea confirmed in a statement on its official website that the he has returned to the club for medical attention.
The statement reads as follows:

The Senegalese Football Federation has announced the withdrawal from their squad of Edouard Mendy due to injury. 

“The goalkeeper sustained an injury to his right thigh during training on Wednesday and had a medical examination in a hospital in Rabat, where Senegal are due to play Morocco tonight. 

“Mendy has since returned to Chelsea where he will undergo further examinations.”
