Second vice-president position went to Masego Nchingane who chalked 26 votes against 23 for Senki Sesinyi and 11 for Solomon Ramochtlhwane.
In other positions, Tebogo Kamati, Carlos Sebina, Alec Monyake and women’s representative Lobito Ncube were voted as ordinary National Executive Committee members.
Speaking before the general assembly, Letshwit said BFA had made a number of strides in the last four years.
“Four years ago, we embarked on a process to overhaul our governance systems, to make them more robust and compliant to international best practice.
“As a result of that, we are ending the quadrennial as the leading beneficiary of the FIFA Forward project on the continent and a model FA in terms of corporate governance.
“We have moved from being a near insolvent and debt riddled entity to a stable organisation with sound financial controls and stable finances; as a result of the reforms introduced,” he said
