South Africa’s Bafana Bafana lost To 2-1 their second international friendly against Zambia this Sunday, October 11 at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.

Molefi Ntseki‘s team made a good first-half with several occasions mostly created by Anderlecht’s striker Percy Tau. Notably a free-kick that obliged Chipolopolo’s goalkeeper Sebastien Mwange to make a complicated save.

However, both teams went to the locker room with a goalless draw. But as Bafana levelled as Keagan Dolly came off the bench to give the lead to South Africa (66 minutes).

Meanwhile, Chipolopolo were looking for solutions and succeeded in doing so as they equalised thanks to Kelvin Kampamba at the 78th minute. The 23-year-old Zesco United striker back at it again and scored a brace four minutes later.

Zambia won 2-1. A second win in the last three games led by Serbian manager Milutin Sredojevic ‘Micho’ after the 1-0 win over Malawi.

South Africa will next play Sao Tome and Principe in a back-to-back in November for 2022 AFCON qualifiers.
