Nigeria Video Of Super Eagles Training Ahead Of Tunisia Game

Nigeria Super Eagles on Monday trained ahead of their international friendly game against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.

 
Tuesday’s game will be the last for the October international break before their doubleheader Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Sierra Leone in November.
 
Nigeria last week Friday lost 1-0 to Algeria in their first game after almost a year due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

Africa Top Sports gathered that head coach, Gernot Rohr has said the game against Tunisia will be opportunity for the players to rose up to the occasion.
 
 
 
Rohr had played down on the 1-0 loss to Algeria which he said was avenue to pick some lessons.
 
We definitely must put up a greater effort against the Tunisians. 
 
“It is an opportunity for some of the players to rise up to the occasion, stake a claim. 
 
“They are ready to go and I believe we would see a much better game on Tuesday.”
 
Rohr also admitted that the absence of some of his players caused the team the loss against Algeria.
 
The Super Eagles defeated Tunisia 1-0 to win the Bronze medal of the 2019 Africa Nations Cup hosted by Egypt.
