UEFA Nations League UEFA Nations League: Ukraine Stuns Spain In Kyiv

Ukraine defeated Spain 1-0 in Kyiv to pick their second win in the UEFA Nations League A Group 4 in an intriguing encounter on Tuesday night.
Andriy Shevchenko led the Yellow- Blue against a highly rated Spain who are topping the group and despite all odds, they came out with the three points.
As expected nobody could have doubted Spain will not win the game as they enjoyed more possessions and threatened several time to a score.
In the opening 20 minutes, Bushchan coped with the attempts by Rodrigo and Fati.

Later, Ramos produced a dangerous free-kick. Moreover, the Ukrainians had virtually no opportunities to take the lead.
The only attack the host can boost of was the one involving Zubkov but David De Gea had no issue in dealing with that.
With the pressure mounting more on Ukraine, Shevchenko brought in  Kovalenko who came on for Sydorchuk.
Then he brought in Tsyhankov who replaced Zubkov after
Rodri targeted the left corner from outside the penalty area, with the ball just touching the goalpost and going wide.
With Spain failing to take their chances, Kovalenko came to the party 10 minutes later as he latched on to a reverse pass from Yarmolenko before he fired into the right corner of the post.
The La Furia Roja raised the pressure after fond8ng themselves trailing as Sergio Ramos was the main attacking character, but the Ukrainians showed some exemplary defensive lustre to hold on to their one goal.
The final whistle saw Shevchenko and his players snatched a vital victory to give them six points and keep their hope alive.
