Ghanaian left-back Abdul Baba Rahman is expected to leave Chelsea before the end of transfer window on Friday with Championship side Middlesbrough joining the contenders.
Baba Rahman has had no chance since joining Chelsea in 2015. He went on loan two times at Schalke 04 ,Reims and last at La Liga side Real Mallorca though injuries have halted his progression at Stamford Bridge.
However, Frank Lampard did not include the 26-year-old defender in his squad for this season and he must find a destination.

According to reports, Middlesbrough have also approached the Blues to sign former Dreams FC player. While Watford have already made an offer, with Derby County also chasing him.
An agreement should be found on Friday, October 16 before the transfer window close at 5PM.
