Mamelodi Sundowns defender Ricardo Nascimento talked to the club’s official website saying they aim at winning the MTN 8 for Masandawana fans.

Ricardo Nascimento, 33, want Sundowns to start the new season withy a trophy after their treble-winning 2019/20 year.

The Chloorkop side will take on Bloemfontein Celtic FC on Sunday in the quarter-final of the MTN 8 Cup.

“When you know that the game is a cup game, then you expect a difficult match. We are looking forward to an exciting game and want to do well in this cup, we want to win it for the club and also for the fans.” the Brazilian centre-back told Sundowns site.

“We have prepared well and we are expecting a challenging season, as the clubs are getting strong teams. The clubs are bringing new and good players to close the gap.” he added.

Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg will play the second game of the quarter-final.
