Ghanaian striker of Crystal Palace Jordan Ayew has declared on Sunday afternoon via his social networks that he has tested positive for Covid-19 and is in quarantine.
Many wished to know why Jordan Ayew was left out for Crystal Palace clash against Brighton (1-1). The 29-year-old forward has revealed the reason behind his absence at Selhurst Park.
Ayew assures that he is feeling fine and is asymptomatic.
“Sadly, I have tested positive for Covid-19 & have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance. Thankfully, I am feeling fine & do not have any symptoms” he wrote on Twitter.
“I will be cheering the boys on from home & look forward to being back on the pitch soon. Stay safe” he added.
