Nigeria Moses Thrilled To Make Spartak Moscow Debut With Win

Victor Moses marks his debut for Russian club Spartak Moscow with a win following their 3-2 win over Khimki on Saturday.

Moses joined Spartan Moscow on a season-long loan deal on Thursday and has immediately settled down with the club.

The former Super Eagles winger came in as substitute replacing Nail Umyarov in the 55th minute.

The 29-year old took to his Twitter account t0 celebrate his debut and victory.

Delighted to make my debut for this great club! Great to start with a win yesterday, hopefully, the start of many 🙏🏿.”

Moses spent last season on loan with Inter Milan and played a vital role in helping the club to reach the final of the Europa League.

Although Inter Milan narrowly lost to Sevilla in the final.

Despite his performance for Antonio Conte side, he was not given a permanent contract before he returned to Chelsea.

At Chelsea, or was obvious he is not part of Frank Lampard plan for the season which prompted his move to Spartak Moscow.

He has now gone on loan in six different clubs since he joined Chelsea from Wigan Athletic in 2012.

The Nigerian international has played for Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce, Inter Milan and now Spartak Moscow.

He will be hoping to make his first start for Spartan Moscow in Wednesday’s FA Cup game against Yenisey.
