The Secretary General of Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) said the FA is waiting for the final decision to emanate from the executive committee for the kickoff of the Zambian Super League.
While clubs have until October 24 for both transfer window and registration, uncertainty still hovers over the debut of the league in Zambia. However, FAZ Secretary General Adrian Kasahala said during an interview with Zambiansoccernet that the governing body of football is waiting for the green light of it Executive Officer.
“The league will proceed after the executive committee approve the kick off date.” he said.

He also provided update on the sponsorship deal between the FA and MTN saying talks are underway.
“Talks are ongoing for between the FAZ and MTN for the main sponsor of the league.”
