Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori completes his move to Premier Soccer League giants Orlando Pirates from Maritzburg United, where he was playing since 2017.

Africa Top Sports told you on Monday that Richard Ofori has said goodbye to his Maritzburg United teammates as he was on the brink of sealing his move to Orlando Pirates.

It is confirmed this Tuesday morning. The 26-year-old shot-stopper joins the Buccaneers after 3 seasons and 85 games with Duban-based outfit. He kept 29 clean sheets whilst conceding 80 goals.

“I am very happy to be here. It is a dream for me to be a part of this exciting squad and to work with the technical team, Ofori told Pirates TV.

“I also look forward to meeting my new teammates and being part of this exciting new project.” he added.

Black Stars goalkeeper is expected to be the number one glovesman with the Bucs for the new season.

In addition, Orlando Pirates are going to kick off their season next Saturday when they take on AmaZulu FC.
