FIFA World Cup U17 Women’s World Cup : India About To Withdraw, Playoffs Postponed

New puzzle for FIFA (International Federation of Football Association). The organization of the U17 Women’s World Cup in India is subject to questions.

The country evokes a new rise of the coronavirus to explain this decision. Originally planned this year, the competition has been postponed to run in 2021 from 17 February to 7 March.

Africa, for its part, is carrying out its last round of playoffs. The 3 qualified are to be known next November. But with this possible withdrawal of India, the CAF also postponed its playoffs.

Committed countries such as Ghana and Cameroon have stopped their training camps.

For this last round, Cameroon faces Uganda, Ghana against Nigeria and Morocco to challenge South Africa.
