Africa Friendly : Good Start For Zambia Winning Against Ethiopia

As announced, Zambia began its series of friendly matches against Ethiopia on Thursday. For their first game, the Chipolopolo won 3-2 against the Antilopes.

having conceded twice in this game, Micho Sredojevic’s men leveled the score before winning in the final moments. Ethiopia opened the scoring in the 15th minute by Getaneh Kebede. But Zambia equalized before the break thanks to Kelvin Kampamba.

Back from the locker room, the locals took advantage of a penalty by Aschalew Tamene. But in the 88th, visitors equalized once again thanks Albert Kangwanda. The latter will give the victory to the Chipolopolo in the game during the additional time. Final score: 3-2.

The two teams will meet back in 3 days.

Then Zambia will face South Sudan in double confrontation. These meetings are part of the preparations for CHAN 2020 and the 2021 AFCON playoffs.
