The Republic of Chad has honoured Samuel Eto’o. The former Cameroonian footballer has become Goodwill Ambassador for the Presidency of the Republic. Just like Nair Abakar is Social Entrepreneur and Youth Counsellor of the African Union.

Chadian Head of State, Marshal Idriss Deby Itno appointed these two personalities thanks to a presidential decree.

Samuel Eto’o was in N’Djamena on 16 October in the framework of the competition «l’École des Champions» (Champions School). This project is an initiave from Nair Abakar. This competition offers 15 scholarships to players aged 10 to 15 who will join the Kadji Sport Academy of Cameroon.
