Premier League 10-man Everton concede their first loss of the season to Southampton

Southampton

There is no longer an unbeaten team in Premier League as Southampton ends Everton’s outstanding streak with a 2-0 win on Sunday afternoon.

Southampton took the lead at the 27th minute as James Ward-Prowse opened the scoring for the Saints.

Alex Iwobi and teammates failed to equalised and Hasenthül’s men found the net for the second time as Che Adams scored at the 35th minute.

Toffees missed out scoring on several occasions and French full-back Lucas Digne was shown the red card at the 72nd minute.

It’s the first loss of Carlo Ancelotti’s men this season. However, they still sit on top of the table but have same points (13) as Liverpool.
