
Ghana Football Association president Edwin-Simon Kurt Okraku said he did not receive any request of assistant coach from Black Stars manager CK Akonnor.
CK Akonnor reportedly requested another deputy coach to help him in managing Black Stars, according to rumors. However GFA president Okraku said this is wrong as the coach nor him asked for a second assistant coach.

“I have not had any request from anyone that we need a second assistant coach for the Black Stars,” Okraku told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
So, David Duncan is set to be the only assistant coach to Charles Akonnor who is yet to name his squad for November’s double header against Sudan for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
