Ghana Asante Kotoko Appointing Najau Issah Laskaya As New Goalkeeping Coach

Najau Issah Laskaya is joining the Kumasi-based club ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season. Asante Kotoko have announced his appointment as the club’s new goalkeeping coach.

This arrival has resulted in the demotion of Asante Kotoko long-standing technical staff. Namely Joe Baah and Sampson Appiah from their position as the club’s goalkeeping coaches.

Najau has previously handled Wa All-Stars, Black Queen’s, Black Maidens, Black Princesses and the Black Stars B. He joins the Porcupine Warriors from fellow Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities.

He will also work as the goalkeeping coach for the senior national team of Ghana under Coach CK Akonnor.

Kotoko will begin their Ghana Premier League season with a home game against Techiman Eleven Wonders. And they will represent the country in this year’s Caf Champions League.
