UEFA Champions League Rashford Equals Two Club Records As Five- Star United Ease Pass Leipzig

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has equaled Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s record after he scored came off the bench and scored a hat trick against RB Leipzig.
Rashford came in as a substitute for Mason Greenwood as Manchester United thrashed Leipzig 5-0 at Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League.
Manchester United continued their perfect start to this season UEFA Champions League this season having missed out of the competition last season.
Rashford was the hero for the Red Devils on Matchday 1 against Paris Saint-Germain in France as he scored a last gasp goal to hand his side a consecutive win against the Parisian in the competition.

His hat trick made him the second Manchester United player to score a hat-trick as a substitute after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did same in February 1999 against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
The forward was benched by Solksjaer in Wednesday’s game at the Theatre of Dream.
Greenwood gave Manchester United the breakthrough goal in the 21 minutes after another excellent pass from Paul Pogba.
After that, the Red Devils could not increase the tally as Leipzig threatened to level.
Solksjaer borought him and he scored in the 74th minute with Bruno Fernandes providing him with the assist.
Four minutes later, he scored again to increase the lead to 3-0 as Fred provided the assist this time.
Anthony Martial was fouled inside the box and the referee pointed to the spot.
The Frenchman took up the responsibility to play the penalty as he converted to 4-0.
Martial then turned in an assist for Rashford who made no mistake and tucked the ball inside the net for his hat trick.
According to Opta, Rashford’s scored in back-to-back Champions League appearances for the first time.
He also became the first Man Utd substitute to score a Champions League brace since David Beckham in April 2003 vs Real Madrid.
