Razak Abalora joined Asante Kotoko after featuring for the Black Stars against Qatar in a friendly. The goalkeeper terminated his contract with Tanzanian giants Azam FC earlier in 2020. The Porcupine Warriors’ new signing, stated that the players of the club have welcomed him with open arms. And he feels comfortable despite his short time there.

“Everything is going well so far. When I came to the camp, they accepted me. I feel they have welcomed me very well. And I feel that I am part of the family already.” He told Kotoko Express.

The club already has club captain Felix Annan and Kwame Baah in their ranks as goalkeepers. When asked about his relationship with them, he declared that it has been good so far.

“The relationship with them [Baah and Annan] has been good. We are all here for the betterment of Asante Kotoko. We are pushing ourselves very hard.” He believed.
