Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has called up red hot Genk striker Paul Onuachu ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations double-header against Sierra Leone.
Onuachu was earlier put on the standby list of the 23-man squad released last week.
He will now take the place of Moses Simon who picked up an injury during the weekend Ligue 1 game against Paris Saint -Germain.

Rohr will have more headache following another injury that rocked his team.
Kenneth Omeruo over the week picked up an injury while playing for Leganes in the Spanish Smartbank.
Omeruo limped out of the pitch three minutes after the break and was replaced by Roberto Rosales.
Rohr will however want to know the extent of the injury before taking any decisions.
Recall Africatopsports.com reported that new goalkeeper Sebastian Osigwe who handed his first international call up to play for the Super Eagles is set not to play.
Osigwe tested positive to COVID-19.
