Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Gaston Sirino is still a target of Egyptian Premier League side Al Ahly, coached since October by Pitso Mosimane, ex-Brazilians manager.
Even before Mosimane sealed his two-year contract with the Red Devils, Sirino was watched over by the Egyptian giants. However, the arrival of Pitso at Cairo could propulse the deal, though the Uruguayan midfielder is tied with Sundowns until 2025.
According to Soccer Laduma, the final is in the hands of Sirino who could decide whether to stay in the Dstv Premiership or move to the Egyptian Premier League. The source added that there was no formal agreement between the two parties.
