CAF Champions League Zamalek beat Raja to set up a Cairo derby in CAF champions league final

Egyptian top-flight side Ferjani Sassi defeated Raja Club Athletic (3-1, aggregate 4-1) in the second leg of CAF Champions league semi-final on Wednesday and will face Al Ahly, another Cairo giants in the final.

Ferjani Sassi was the main player who sealed the victory for Zamalek Wednesday night.

The Tunisian midfielder, 28, scored and assisted Mostafa Mohamed twice to help Jaime Pacheco’s team take over the Moroccans who are eliminated despite Ben Malango’s reducer (47 minutes).

The Whites will then face their arch-rivals Al Ahly who also knocked out Wydad Casablanca, another Moroccan club.

The final takes place on November 27 at Borg El Arab Stadium in Cairo (7pm).
