Malawi captain John Banda has joined the Flames’ camp training in Blantyre.

The Mozambique-based UD Songo midfielder is the second foreign-land based player to join training after America-based Yamikani Chester.

Banda’s team-mate in Mozambique, Schumacher Kuwali, is also expected to report for the training.

The Flames are preparing for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Burkina Faso.

Malawi will travel to Burkina Faso on November 12 then host the Stallions four days later in Blantyre.

The teams are competing in group B which also has Uganda and South Sudan.
