Ghanaian Players abroad Jordan Ayew ‘happy’ to score 1st league goal as Palace trashed Leeds

Jordan Ayew

Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew scored his first Premier League goal in 2020/21 season on Saturday afternoon as Crystal Palace thumped Leeds United 4-2.

Ayew was not in a good shape since the start of the season. As he tested positive to Covid-19 weeks ago, scoring was delayed for him. But the 29-year-old broke the deadlock on Saturday as he scored the fourth and last goal of eagles.

“Three points and great team performance was the perfect response to last week’s disappointment! Also, really happy to score my first goal of the season! Stay safe” the Black Star wrote on social media.

He is included in Black Stars squad for Sudan double-header for the third and fourth game of the 2022 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers.
