Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick reveals the reason why he is not running for the presidency of Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Africa Top Sports told you earlier this Monday that Pinnick is endorsing the candidacy of South African Football Association (SAFA) president Patrice Motsepe.

This has been confirmed as the 49-year-old spoke to BBC and publically gave the reasons behind this choice.

“He has more superior qualities than me,” Amaju Pinnick told BBC Sport Africa.

“It’s not about me, it’s about African football. If you have someone with superior qualities, you have to learn from him and queue behind him and wait for your time.”
