Cape Verde

Cape Verde will host Rwanda on Thursday, November 12 afternoon for the round 3 of 2022 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifying game in the group F at 4pm at Estadio Nacional de Cabo Verde in Praia.

The Cape Verdean national football team opened training camp on Monday, November 9 with coach Bubista having nine players at his disposal.

However, the Blue Sharks arrive massively during Tuesday evening’s training session as 23 of the 25 called up reported to the training ground.

The two other players namely midfielder Kevin Oliveira and winger Platini should have joined the team on Tuesday.

Meantime, players like Mário Évora, Patrick Andrade, Zé Luís, Kenny Rocha, Bruno Leite and Willy Semedo will miss these two important meetings due to travelling restrictions for some and injuries for others.

Pedro Leitao Brio “Bubista” and his staff have therefore handed late call-ups to Márcio da Rosa, Felix Mathaus, Hélder Tavares, Kevin Oliveira, Platini and Djaniny Semedo.

In addition, Cape Verde currently sit at the third position of the group after securing an encouraging goalless draw to Cameroon in their first group stage game.
