Algeria is moving to Harare, for their return match against Zimbabwe. A game to take place next Monday as part of the 2021 AFCON playoffs 4th gameday.

The Fennecs won Thursday night in Algiers against Zimbabwe 3-1 (half time: 2-0) in the 3rd gameday. The 2021 AFCON that will finally play in 2022 in Cameroon due to Coronavirus pandemic.

Bounedjah opened the scoring in the 31st minute. Feghouli scored their second just before halftime (43′). In the second half, Captain Mahrez scored the third goal (66′). Kadewere reduced the score for the visitors (78′).

Djamel Belmadi and his men are now planning to go and win in Harare. “We will go to Zimbabwe to win. We met some difficulties with Zimbabwe at the stade du 5 Juillet. We should not forget that we faced a good team.” Said Belmadi.

After this third victory, the Greens confirmed their leading position with 9 points. 5 points ahead of their runner-up Zimbabwe.
