Legon Cities goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has been called up by Black Stars coach CK Akonnor to replace Richard Ofori who got two yellow cards ahead of Sudan vs Ghana clash.

Ghana won the first leg 2-0 thanks two a brace of Andre Ayew on Thursday in a game that saw Orlando Pirates shot stopper booked. His second yellow card in a row after that against South Africa.

Dauda will then make the trip with Ghana squad who will depart from Accra on Sunday for Khartoum. He was absent from the Black Stars squad since November 2015.

“Legon Cities goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has been called up to replace Richard Ofori for the trip to Sudan.” a statement in the Ghana FA’s website reads.

“The Orlando Pirates goalkeeper picked up his second yellow card in the qualifiers on Thursday against Sudan at the cape Coast stadium ruling him out of the 2nd leg in Khartoum.”

In addition, the return leg takes place on, Tuesday, November 17.
