South Africa are nearing the qualification to 2021 Africa Cup Of nations as they defeat Sao Tome 4-2 on Monday afternoon in the match day 4 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Sao Tome and Principe captain Joazhifel Sousa Pontes put his side on the right way at the 12th minute.

After a short domination, Bafana Bafana take control of the ball and equalised at the 39th minute as Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Themba Zwane scored. 1-1 was the scoreline at half-time.

In the second half, Molefi Ntseki’s men were the most dangerous as they accumulated occasions which finally paid off as Themba Zwane found Percy Tau who scored to give the lead for South Africa at the 69th minute.

But the Falcons and True Parrots were yet to give up as they back again with another goal as Harramiz Soares equalised for Sao Tome.

However, at the moment Derrick Kafuli were thinking of a 2-2 draw, South Africans were hungry a lot as Themba Zwane and Percy Tau scored each a brace.

With three wins in four games, South Africa have nine points, same as Ghana who will challenge Sudan on Tuesday.

The match day 5 and 6 are scheduled for March 2021.
