Nigeria winger Samuel Kalu bagged an assist as Girondis Bordeaux recorded a 1-0 away win against Stade Rennes in their Ligue 1 game at the Roazhon Park on Friday night.
Kalu teed up Harem Ben Arfa for the triumphing goal eight minutes earlier to the break.
He however didn’t complete the game as he was replaced by Remi Oudin a minute after he hour mark.
The 23-year-old has scored two goals in seven league appearances for Les Girondis this season.
Kalu’s teammate Josh Maja was also involved in the game.
Maja was changed by Jimmy Briand on the hour mark.
The victory took Bordeaux to 11th place on the Ligue 1 table with 15 points from eleven games.
