Africa Soccer CAF clear fans to attend champions league final – report

Confederation of African Football (CAF) have reportedly granted fans the green light to attend champions league final to be played on November 27 at Cairo International Stadium between Al Ahly and Zamalek.

Despite the fact that Covid-19 cases are increasing in Egypt, CAF decided that supporters can attend stadium on Friday for the 2020 final.

“We have contacted the CAF about the attendance of fans for the Champions League Final, and today we received the approval,” Egyptian FA board member Mohamed Fadl said, as per KingFut.

“CAF agreed to attend between 5 and 10 thousand spectators, with the necessity to adhere to the precautionary measures.

“However the final decision is due to the security aspect, and we are awaiting the official response, which we will receive in 48 hours,” he added.

Al Ahly will be seeking the en their 7-year continental trophy drought while Zamalek will eye their first silverware since 2002.
