Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairman Kurt Okraku says the FA relies on Ashanti Gold SC to impress in this 2020/21 CAF Confederation.
Ashanti Gold will take on Burkina Faso top-flight side Salitas on Sunday, NOvember 29 (3:00pm) for the first leg of the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary rounds (second leg on December 5).
The Miners drew both of their first two Ghana Premier League games since the season start scoring twice and conceding also two times in each meeting.
Now that the Obuasi-based outfit will represent Ghana in the continental level, GFA boss Kurt Okraku wished them a good luck.
“As you come back to do battle on the African continent, your Football Association (GFA) has absolute belief in your quality and ability to do a good job and make all of us proud. We wish you well… Arise and shine. Goodluck!!!” Okraku wrote on social media.
