Red Bull Salzburg striker-in-chief, Patson Daka, returned to training in Austria on November 26 2020 after being sidelined by an injury.

Daka suffered the injury during a Uefa Champions League clash against Spanish La Liga heavy weights, Atletico Madrid, late last month.

The Zambian international has since said he is happy to resume training.

“Work hard, but never get lost in what you’re working for. First training session with the team after almost a month out. Felt alive again! Come back loading,” he tweeted on @PatsonDaka20.

The 22-year-old lasted for just 27 minutes at Madrid’s Metropolitan Stadium after suffering from the thigh injury.

Daka went on to miss Afcon qualifiers for Zambia against Botswana.

Zambia won 1-0 at home against Botswana before losing by a similar margin in Francistown in the reverse fixture.
