African players abroad EUROPA LEAGUE : EL NENY OUT OF MOLDE CLASH

Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny was the notable absentee for Arsenal when they lined up against Molde FK in a Europa League clash on November 26 2020.

Elneny tested positive for coronavirus after arriving in Togo with Egypt squad ahead of the recent AFCON qualifier.

Reports show that the midfielder is self-isolating in Cairo and is asymptomatic.

The Gunners are in pole position to top their group if they win against Molde.

Another player conspicuously absent for Arsenal was Thomas Partey who picked an injury recently.
