Foot Africa Asamoah Gyan Satisfied With His New Ghana Premier League Debut

Ghana great Asamoah Gyan marked his debut for Legon Cities FC on Friday evening at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Royals Ghana Premier League third day match against Medeama SC ended in goalless draw.

The Ghanaian veteran striker has expressed his delight after making Ghana Premier League return after 17 years.

I am very much excited to be back home. This is where the name, Asamoah Gyan started and it feels great to play in the league again after 17-years.” The 35-year old shared.

I am very much satisfied with the game tonight. It’s a positive one. We need to approach the next game with this same mentality. And I believe soon the wins will come.” He continued.

The leading top scorer of the Black Stars last played in the Ghanaian top-flight league in 2003. Where he earned a move from Liberty Professionals to Udinese.

Now back in his home country, Asamoah Gyan signed at Legon Cities FC for the 2020/2021 football season.
