Guinean forward Idrissa Sylla was in action for his Indian Super League (ISL) NorthEast United as they claimed a 2-0 victory against East Bengal.
Sylla was handed a starting XI jersey following his recent impressive form for the NorthEast United.
He was once again involved in the opening goal after he connected with Appiah’s cross and pushed the ball past the line in the 33rd minute.
The goal was however ruled as own goal.
The Highlanders went on to double the lead at the last gasp as Suhair cross was put to bed by Rochharzela in the 91 minutes.
The victory ensured NorthEast United remain top of the ISL table and unbeaten.
