The Young Chipolopolo are now temporarily in pole position in the group with six points from two games after they started their campaign with a 1-0 win over Namibia.
In the game against Comoros, Zambia scored through John Chishimba and Derrick Bulaya.
Group B contains Malawi, Comoros, Namibia and defending champions Zambia, while Group C has Angola, Eswatini and Botswana.
Finalists for the Cosafa Championship will earn a ticket to Total Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for Mauritania next year.
From there, the top four sides in Mauritania will clinch a berth at the 2021 Under-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
The overall best team in each team will qualify for the semi-finals while being joined by the best runner-up.
