Egypt Ibrahim Hassan: CAF bans Pyramids midfielder for 2 months for doping

The awaited-sanction for Ibrahima Hassan is revealed by Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The Pyramids midfielder is banned for two months by African Football governing body as he was tested positive to doping following Pyramids’ win over Horoya AC in the last CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.

“The Disciplinary Board decided to impose upon the player a suspension of two (2) years, of which twenty-two (22) months are suspended on the condition that the player is not found guilty of a similar offence within two years, therefore Ibrahim Hassan is suspended for Two (2) months starting the date of his Therapeutic Use Exemption Application, namely starting from the 18th of November 2020 until the 18th of January 2021.” CAF announced, per KingFut.

The 29-year-old will then miss the first seven league games of Pyramids.
