Egypt’s Al Ahly and Moroccan RS Berkane are the CAF Super Cup poster to take place in 2021 in Qatar. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) had previously announced that the venue would change from Doha to Cairo.

However, RS Berkane protested against the decision as they believe it would create an unfair advantage for their opponents. CAF have, therefore, decided to amintain the game in Qatar.

However, they haven’t decided on a specific date yet. But the match it is expected to be played in the first term of 2021.

RS Berkane were crowned Confederation Cup champions in October after beating Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids FC in the final.

They will now take on another Egyptian side in Al Ahly who have beaten arch rivals Zamalek in the CAF Champions League final.
