Former Bafana Bafana star Benni McCarthy is the new head coach of Dstv Premiership side AmaZulu FC following the departure of Ayanda Dlamini.

McCarthy is back. The all-time Bafana Bafana top scorer has a new challenge since his exit from Cape Town City in late 2019.

The club announced the good news via a video on their Twitter account.

Benni McCarthy will lead his first game on Wednesday when AmaZulu face Golden Arrows in the league.
