Africa Soccer ZIMBABWE : WARRIORS STEP UP CHAN PREPARATIONS

Zimbabwe’s Warriors have stepped up preparations for the forthcoming African Nations Championship (Chan) scheduled for Cameroon.

The Warriors have been playing training matches with top clubs in the country, including against Caps United, FC Platinum and Ngezi Platinum Stars.

Warriors coach Zdravko Logarusic has since explained to Zimbabwe Football Association Facebook page the rationale behind the training matches with Premier Soccer League clubs.

We want to be sure that no one misses out on a chance to be in the CHAN squad. We want to discover more players that we might have overlooked in the initial selection that we made,” Loga said.

He said he has since excused FC Platinum players due to their forthcoming CAF Champions League commitments.

Zimbabwe were drawn in the same group with the hosts Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Mali at the Chan finals to run from January 16 to February 7 2020.

Players will be released for a festive break on 21 December, and they will return to camp on 28th December.
