Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has given an update on his recovery from Covid-19.

Posting on his tweeter handle, the South African promised to bounce back strongly.

“Evening everybody, just went for X-rays and will get the advice from the Doctors tomorrow. Thanks for all the good wishes. Inshallah, I will be back soon,” he tweeted.

In Pitso’s absence, assistant coach Cavin Johnson will take charge of the Red Devils for the upcoming two weeks.

Ahly announced through a statement on Wednesday that Pitso contracted coronavirus.

As imposed by the sanitary measures in Egypt, the South African tactician will spend two weeks in isolation.

The Red Devils will take on Ghazl El Mahalla on in the Egyptian Premier League after winning their first encounter to Misr El Makkasa followed by the CAF Champions league first round game against AS Sonidep on December 23.
