Africa Soccer Ghana wins WAFU B U20 Cup ahead of Burkina Faso

The Black Satellites of Ghana are the winners of the WAFU B U20 Cup as they defeated (2-1) Burkina Faso in final Saturday night in Porto Novo, Benin.

Despite their bad game start, the Black Satellites came from behind to claim the trophy.

Burkina Faso opened the scoring through Fiacre Botue Kouame at the 16th minute. However, it took just five minutes to Karim Zito’s men to equalized as Daniel Afriyie Barnieh found the net.

The Black Satellites secured the win in the second half thanks to a sumptuous free-kick of Precious Boah at the 78th minute.

Ghana U20 are then the winners of the WAFU B U20 Cup. However, both teams are qualified for the next AFCON U20 in Mauritania from February 14 to March 4 2021.
