African players abroad Jurgen Klopp: Mane was not angry because Salah was coming on

Jurgen Klopp

Sadio Mane was visibly angry after Jurgen Klopp sent him off at the 57th minute of Liverpool‘s 7-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

After that sequence, fans and the world of football related the event to a past one as the Senegal international was caught with the same attitude last season.

However, Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp reassured that Mane’s angry had nothing to do with the coming on of Mohamed Salah. As he scored already.

“Mane was not angry because Mo was coming on,” Klopp told BT Sport.

“He was not happy because he had a look at the watch and he didn’t stay on until after the free kick. You cannot do everything, they are human beings. After the game it was completely fine. It’s all good.”

Mo Salah finally scored a brace and provided an assist.
