Uruguayan midfielder Gaston Sirino did not show up on Mamelodi Sundowns Monday training session hours after the club terminates discussions with Al Ahly over his transfer.

Sirino will not leave Sundowns. The Chloorkop announced earlier on Monday that they have ended talks with Egyptian Premier League giants Al Ahly as they were far from finding an agreement over the transfer fee.

Then concerned did not pitch up with his teammates in the afternoon. However, one of Brazilians officials told Kickoff that there is no issue with him as other players were also absents for the return to training ground after the Christmas break.

“There are no issues, he is not the only player missing today,” the official said.

“He is part of the group.”
