Lamptey is gaining attraction from all over Europe since his good displays allow him to make his England U-21 debut with an eventually senior team being evoked.

The 20-year-old is blossoming at right-wing back under Graham Potter but he could leave the Falmer Stadium outfit in the transfer window as Spanish right-back Hector Bellerin is closed to returning to Barca, his boyhood club.

Barcelona’s presidential candidate Joan Laporta wants to bring back Bellerin and Gunners start monitoring tracks.

According to The Mirror, Tariq Lamptey is their top target as a potential replacement of the Spanish knowing that Bayern Munich and Manchester City are also watching the progress of the player.

However, the Emirates Stadium side is yet to table an offer for the sought after player.
